Celebrating Pride isn’t just a once-per-year event highlight; it’s a 365-days-per-year acknowledgment and societal inclusion of the LGBTQIA+ community. The global vodka brand Smirnoff recognized this importance and hosted “A Celebration of Ballroom” as part of its annual show of pride solidarity.

The event took place on June 16th and provided a night full of culture, community, and camaraderie. Dashaun Wesley—star of HBO’s Legendary—played host for the evening, while Grammy-winning artist Durand Bernarr closed the show with a standout music performance.

Yet, the most defining moment of the night was the shared self-expression on stage through vivid ballroom performances, including dancing, voguing, and a runway competition. Notable attendees included Tony award-winner Omari Wiles, Street Hearts creator and host Tiffany Baira, and Drake Garçon (winner of the night’s mini-ball).

Guests enjoyed craft cocktails, including the Pretty Girl Snack (made with Smirnoff Pink Lemonade) and the Runway Funway (made with the brand’s No.21 vodka).
